A Note in Regard to Installation work
Many contractors require a substantial deposit at contract signing before beginning work. Our policy is different. We, unlike most, only require a small deposit, usually in an amount between $25.00 to $100.00 depending on the cost of the job. We only require this minimal deposit to bind the contract. We believe there is no need to require large deposits because all of our material is bought on account from our vendors. We feel we are establishing a sense of good will, and this has been our policy for many years. We would recommend that you should insist on these or similar terms with any contractor you may use. This policy doesn't apply to commercial accounts, remodeling work or to rental properties.
